South Bend Watch Co., South Bend, Indiana, "The Studebaker", grade 229, 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel, engraved open face case with Arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial, plum colored steel spade and poker hands, serial #622655, c1910.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor dings; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on inner surface of case; Bow replaced and with brassing; Crown with wear. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light, 1:00, 3:30. HANDS: Minor oxide and loss to color. MOVEMENT PLATES: Winding wheels and click with specks of oxide; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide; Minor marring to escape wheel endstone setting and to surrounding area. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
